Windings are made of electrolytic grade copper. In addition, however aluminum windings can also be provided on demand. Windings are wound cylindrically and are placed concentrically around the core leg. Windings are varnish impregnated and vacuum dehydrated to ensure enough mechanical strength to withstand short circuit forces. Proper cooling arrangement is provided to minimize hot spots.

Tanks are hermetically sealed or of conservator type with welded tubes. However detachable radiators can also be provided depending on customer requirements and the relative ease of handling and transportation. Necessary gaskets are provided to avoid oil leakages. Tank base is provided with bidirectional rollers. Top cover is bolted to the tank body having welded lifting lugs.

Tests are performed according to customer requirements, conforming to national (DDS 84:2020) and international (IEC 60076) standards on duly calibrated instruments. Laboratory has developed and maintained management system conforming to ISO/IEC 17025 standard. The following routine tests are administered on each and every transformer manufactured.
